Choose your compression settings

Lower the resolution for smaller files
The preset limits video to 1080p and 30 fps. Try 720p if the file is still too large for your upload.
Keep text readable
For screen recordings and slides, keep enough resolution to read small text. Raise the quality if letters or edges look blurred.
Choose H.264 for wider playback support
The preset uses H.265 to reduce file size. If the result will not play in your app or on your device, choose Custom and switch to H.264.

Save the settings for your next batch

Save a compression recipe for weekly client videos, reuse the same quality and resolution, and deliver the finished batch to the client’s Google Drive folder. A free account includes one saved recipe. Paid plans add larger batches and automatic delivery to a Google Drive or Dropbox folder after conversion.

Video compression FAQ

Can I compress multiple videos for free without an account?

Yes, without a watermark. Up to 2 files per batch, 100 MB per file, and 20 conversions per 24 hours on Free.

Can I compress a video to an exact file size?

No. There is no target size in MB. Lower the resolution or trim the clip, then check whether the result fits your upload limit.

Why is my video still large after compression?

Longer videos need more space. A file that is already well compressed may barely shrink or may get larger with different settings. Try a lower resolution or remove sections you do not need.

Will compression reduce video quality?

Yes. Compression can reduce picture detail and audio quality. Choose a higher quality setting if needed.
